PAUL TAYLOR 2 DANCE COMPANY TO PERFORM AT VITERBO
APRIL 1

CROSSE, Wis. – Experience modern dance at its finest as the acclaimed Paul
Taylor 2 Dance Company performs at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 1 in the Viterbo
University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.

Paul Taylor is one of the dance
world’s most celebrated choreographers. He established the Paul Taylor 2 Dance
Company in 1993 to ensure his works could be seen by audiences all over the
world. The company consists of six dancers with a particular gift for Taylor’s
style, highlighting the athleticism, humor, and range of emotions found in his
work.

The Paul Taylor 2 Dance Company has
performed in 400 cities during its illustrious career. It has also done
extensive residencies in six major cities, teaching and performing for
thousands of students.

“Taylor 2 is kind of a miracle,” wrote
Gia Koulas of the New York Times.
“All of the dancers are considerable talents who unite fearlessness with
skill.”

The Paul Taylor 2 Dance Company’s performance is part
of Viterbo’s Bright Star Season and is sponsored in part by a grant from the
Wisconsin Arts Board, with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National
Endowment for the Arts. KQEG TV is the media sponsor.
