Actually, RefWorks is more of a "database adjacent" product. It's a citation manager tool that allows you to generate citations and bibliographies from the resources you save to it while doing your research in databases.

A key thing to remember when using it is that you have to create your own account in it before you can start using it. While you are required to use your Viterbo e-mail address when you create the account, it is NOT using your regular Viterbo login. It will use a password of your own choosing specifically for RefWorks. We also don't use the "Use login from my institution" link for logging in. That link uses a different type of authentication that Viterbo doesn't use.
