Career Services Offering Internship Preparation

Internships remain an important learning experience and resume builder for college students. Viterbo students considering a summer or fall internship should be initiating conversations with advisors and beginning internship searches early this semester. Career services is offering several services to support students in their internship searches during the semester.

Internship resume sessions are offered to help students prepare an employer-ready resume for internship search. Attendance is required at one of the following sessions for students registering for their first for-credit internship:  

  • Tuesday, Feb. 10 from 12:30–1:30 p.m. in Murphy Center 316
  • Wednesday, March 4 from 12:15–1:15 p.m. in Murphy Center 432
  • Monday, April 13 from 2:30–3:30 p.m. in Brophy Center 202

An internship and grant information session is required for students prior to registering for an internship. The sessions are scheduled at the following times during the spring semester:

  • Tuesday, Feb. 17 from 12:30–1:30 p.m. in Murphy Center 316
  • Wednesday, March 18 from12:15–1:15 p.m. in Murphy Center 314
  • Wednesday, April 8 from 3:30–4:30 p.m. in Murphy Center 316
  • Monday April 20 from 2:30–3:30 p.m. in Murphy Center 316

In addition, regional internships are posted on the Viterbo Job Bank. Students may also register in the career services office for the free bus ride to the Workforce Career and Internship Fair in Milwaukee. Students with questions about internships should contact the Career Services office at ext. 3828.
