Elementary Spanish
Culturally authentic technology and print materials at the introductory level are used to facilitate communication skills in Spanish for everyday conversations and interactions. Students will practice common words and phrases such as exchanging greetings, introducing themselves, and identifying everyday objects and occurrences. By the end of the semester, students will reach the Novice Mid proficiency level established by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. Recommended for students with no previous Spanish study. Prerequisite for 102: C or better in 101 or by departmental exam.
