Talent Management
This course will examine the strategies and tools that human resource professionals use to achieve an organizations strategic objectives by identifying and retaining a high quality, diverse talent pool. It will look at strategies to recruit talent, develop a talent pipeline through succession planning, and build leadership bench strength through a professional development system. This course will also explore promotion and cross-functional systems that will strengthen the organization as well as retention strategies to promote and reward high quality talent. Students will engage in various activities intended to illustrate and practice the skills involved in implementing talent management systems.
