Speaking Spanish: Bldg the Interview
This course works to incorporate higher level grammar skills into active spoken conversation by studying the process of building and conducting interviews with native speakers of Spanish. Coursework aims to take intermediate conversation skills and improve proficiency and includes some written composition. By the end of the semester, students will reach the Intermediate High proficiency level established by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. Students who complete 305 or 306 as their first college Spanish class with at least a C receive 12 retroactive credits for SPAN 101 and 102, 250 and 251. Prerequisite: C or higher in 250 or 251 or by departmental placement exam.
