Attention Artists: Counseling Services is looking for works of art (photography, sculpture, paintings, drawings, etc.) to display in our hallway cabinets on the third floor of Murphy.  To display your art you don’t have to be a client and you can get your works of art back at any time. Our space is somewhat limited, so nothing too big. If you would like to make a submission simple email Justin at jsmcknight@viterbo.edu.

Viterbo faculty, administration, and staff are invited to present and/or attend the eight Annual Celebration of Teaching and Learning on Friday, Feb. 17, from 3:30–5:00 p.m. in the FSPA Lobby of the Fine Arts Center. Visit the site to register. Join faculty and instructors from a variety of disciplines as we share teaching and learning experiences, instructional strategies, methods, and outcomes via 15-minute mini sessions. To present, sign up by Monday, Feb. 13. Scholarly or informal work related to teaching and learning is welcome. Those attending will enjoy wine, beer, snacks, and the good company of colleagues and friends. 

Faculty Development is Thursday, Jan. 26, from 3:30–4:30 p.m., in NRC 195 or via Zoom, for an introduction to study abroad programs through the Spanish American Institute for International Education. A representative will be on campus to talk with faculty about these tailor-made programs designed for Viterbo students and led by Viterbo faculty. Programs are available in Spain, the UK, and Morocco.

Faculty and staff are invited to the Winter Marketing Forum, Tuesday, Jan. 31 from 3:30p.m.–4:30 p.m. in RCE 134. The presentation will cover recruitment marketing for fall 2022 and what is planned for spring 2023.

If you have consented to receive your 2022 1098-T form as an electronic document, you can now log into VitNet Self Service under Tax Information to view and print your document. Anyone that did not consent to receive their 1098-T electronically will have their form mailed this week to their current address on file at Viterbo.

Area school buses will be lined up the Viterbo Fine Arts Center Dick Record Entrance (by the Reinhart Center) in the morning and early afternoon for an Arts for Young America School Series performance. The walkway between the Varsity Athletics Center and Murphy Center may also be used for overflow bus parking.

Students wishing to make an appointment in Starfish may notice that the layout has been updated over winter break. Appointments are now organized by the sponsoring department.  For example, if you wish to make an appointment for a flu shot, you would look under Health Services. Tutoring would be under ARC, etc. If you have difficulty during the transition, feel free to reach out to Julie Roth, hub@viterbo.edu for assistance.
