The Weekends at VU is offering two Escape Room experiences at La Crosse Escape Room, 319 Main St, on Friday, Dec. 2. Spots are limited but available for Prison Break (5:45 p.m.) and Deserted Island (6 p.m.). Sign-up online at the following site: click here. The participation fee is being paid by Weekends at VU.

The President’s Holiday Dinner is Wednesday, Dec. 7 from 4:15–6:30 p.m. in the Caf. All students are welcome for great food and festive fun. All attendees are asked to enter the Student Union through the Marian Courtyard entrance.

The art department is hosting an Empty Bowl Project and Christmas Market this coming Friday, Dec. 2, on the third floor of the Fine Arts Center. It will take place from 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Ten dollars buys you one handmade bowl filled with delicious chili. A Christmas Market will be open in the gallery throughout the event. All proceeds to go to local charities.

Members of VUSM 200 are participating in a “Christmas Coach” Clothing Drive with proceeds benefitting The Good Fight Community Center, which provides at-risk and disadvantaged youth with support and services here in La Crosse. They are seeking donations of coats, snow pants, hats, earmuffs, boots (youth 1–adult 10), warms socks, mittens, gloves, underwear, toys (ages 10–18), and gift cards for the youth of La Crosse. Donations can be placed in the green tote in the Fine Arts Center near the Box Office lobby until Dec. 3. Questions can be directed to Clare Henschel at chensc74459@viterbo.edu.

The Food for Finals committee is looking for food and monetary donations for the week of Dec. 12. Three locations will be available during finals week for students to grab a snack as they study for their exams. Viterbo employees are invited to donate individually bagged treats, pre-packaged snacks, and non-refrigerated items. Monetary donations can be sent in a sealed envelope via intra-campus mail to Mary Mormann (MRC 510). Food donations can be dropped off at the library, the Nursing Center's first-floor counter, and outside the Academic Resource Center (MRC 332). Monetary donations are accepted at any time. Freshly baked items may be dropped off at the Academic Resource Center at any time during finals week. For questions contact Mary Mormann at mbmormann@viterbo.edu.
