Viterbo University alumna Lauren Johnson ’21 is part of the national touring Broadway production of HAIRSPRAY. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts and was a music theatre major. HAIRSPRAY, Broadway’s Tony Award®-winning musical comedy phenomenon, is coming to the Viterbo Fine Arts Center Main Theatre Saturday, Feb. 4 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 5 at 2 p.m.
The Viterbo community is invited to a free student recital presented this Saturday by pianists Katie Preusser and Kylie Krahn at 3 p.m. in the Nola Starling Recital Hall. This recital is offered in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree Bachelor of Arts in Music and will include a light reception afterward.
On Sunday, Nov. 20 at 3 p.m., Viterbo's newest choral ensemble, Choral Arts, will give its inaugural performance at the new Cappella Performing Arts Center at 721 King Street. The 80-person choir will sing repertoire spanning four centuries and five different languages. Admission is free.

The campus food pantries on campus have been stocked. Those in need are welcome to visit the pantries located on the third floor of Murphy, in the Port in the basement of Marian Hall, and in the Sister Thea Bowman Center.
Area school buses will be lined up the Viterbo Fine Arts Center Dick Record Entrance (by the Reinhart Center) in the morning and early afternoon for an Arts for Young America School Series performance. The walkway between the Varsity Athletics Center and Murphy Center may also be used for overflow bus parking.

IIT will be conducting network updates on Nov. 17 (after 5 p.m.) and Nov. 27 (2 p.m.). The purpose of these updates is to increase capacity and redundancy for the internet connection. IIT does not anticipate either of these updates will require an outage.
