The Student Dietetics Association is having an apple pie fundraiser from now until Sunday, Nov. 13 at 5 p.m. They will be selling apple pies, pumpkin pies, and cookie dough to raise funds for practice RD testing materials. Viterbo’s Conservatory for the Performing Arts presents Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure Nov. 18-20 at the Weber Center for the Performing Arts Lyche Theatre. The play masterfully explores the morality of a society caught between two worlds.
Springtide Research Institute executive director Josh Packard, PhD, will present “The State of Religion and Young People” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10 in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Nola Starling Recital Hall. Pi Phi will present an Nursing Alumni Panel: Recent Graduates Bridging the Gap from Student to Success on Wednesday, Nov. 9 from 6–8 p.m. in NRC 195. There will be eight recent graduates coming in to talk to nursing students about their journey from graduation to their current career. They are prepared and happy to answer student questions regarding decision making, such as “how do you feel about going right into a specialty area?,” how did they feel about their first job, any additional training they needed for their current jobs etc… Come prepared with questions and stay for some pizza and inspiration for graduation and beyond.
