Spirit of Assisi Day message from Fr. Conrad: In 1986, Pope (Saint) John Paul II invited over 160 world religious leaders to Assisi, the city of Saint Francis, to pray for reconciliation and peace in our world. Each year, Franciscan leaders ask all admirers of Saint Francis to do something “Franciscan” to continue this tradition of prayer. We at Viterbo continue to be grateful to the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration who have continuously energized us with the Spirit of Francis and Clare of Assisi. May this day be inspiring. Pax et Bonum.
