Coming up:

Health Services will offer COVID-19 vaccine on Wednesday, Oct. 5 from 1–4 p.m. in Murphy 340. This will include primary doses and boosters of Pfizer vaccine. Bring your vaccination card with you. 

Nick Johnson, the director of pre-owned vehicles for Luther Landers Automotive Group, will open the 2022–23 Viterbo University Leadership at Noon series Wednesday, Oct. 5 in the Fine Arts Center FSPA Lobby. This event is free and open to the public. No ticket required.

Meet with Washington Community Scholar’s Center Thursday, Oct. 6, 11:40 a.m.–12:20 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 7 11 a.m.–1 p.m., in the Student Union. This past spring we sent our first Viterbo student, Stephanie Sesvold (ECAS ’22), to Washington, D.C. as part of this program. The program offers an opportunity for our students each semester (including summer) to live, study, and intern in Washington D.C. 

The St. Francis Week Blessing of the Pets is tomorrow, Oct. 5 at 5 p.m. near Dancing Francis in Assisi Courtyard.

 

Notices:

The deadline for the May 2023 VUSM 200: Living in a Diverse World Abroad: Thailand Immersion has been extended. The class will be focused on Hmong history and culture. Application forms are available on the study abroad webpage and can be brought to NRC 423.

The deadline for the Spain faculty-led spring/summer 2023 Sports Nutrition and Mediterranean Diet course application has been extended. This course will travel May 16–June 4 in Sevilla, Spain. Application materials include: personal statement and letter of recommendation.
