Keith Knutson’s efforts in teaching classes such as Western Civilization, American Government, U.S. History, the European Union, and the Vietnam War were recognized when he was named Teacher of the Year at Viterbo’s 2022 Rose Awards ceremony.

2 p.m. Employee Forum – FSPA Lobby – The forum will include summer campus improvement project updates, news from the May 23 Board of Trustees meeting, and an overview of the compensation diagnostic. The forum will be recorded so any employees unable to attend can watch it at their convenience. While some employees do not work 12 months a year, the date of the forum needed to be after the Board of Trustees meeting.

Tony Welch came away from his four years at Viterbo with a degree in sports management and leadership and a sense of mission in life. “No matter the situation, I always want to put myself in the shoes of others and take care of people by being kind,” he said.

Beginning Monday, May 23 the exterior doors for the academic buildings will be open Monday–Thursday 8 a.m.–5 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m–5:15 p.m. Viterbo University ID card access is needed for times outside of these hours. Kirsten Gabriel has been named the vice president for student life and dean of students at Viterbo University. She has held the interim post since July of 2021.
