When he went a year living in New York without a stage gig, the lessons he learned at Viterbo helped him hang on until he got the call to be in his second Broadway musical, a plum role in "TINA: The Tina Turner Musical."

Spotlight on…Adeline (Berg) Blundy, SFSN ’41

Adeline (Berg) Blundy’s recollections of her time at St. Francis School of Nursing are a little bit fuzzy, but then that’s not surprising. As a member of the Class of 1941, it’s been almost 80 years since she graduated.

“That’s a long time ago,” said Blundy, who turned 102 on Aug. 5, 2019.

Viterbo University ‘Sole Providers’ in High Demand

Viterbo University graduate nursing director Mary Ellen Stolder received an encouraging sign when she arrived at work one Monday morning early last spring.

“The phone has been ringing off the hook,” she was told by Administrative Assistant Bobbi Hundt ’09.

Taking a break from the busy schedule of an internationally acclaimed opera singer, Matt Boehler ’98 returned to his alma mater in November 2019 to perform a recital and spend several days working with students. It was a special homecoming he very much enjoyed.
