The roots of the nativity scene tradition go back 800 years to 1223, when St. Francis of Assisi delivered Mass in a cave chapel in Greccio, Italy. This holiday season Viterbo University joins forces with the FSPA, Franciscan Spirituality Center, and Mayo Clinic Health System to celebrate the octocentenary milestone.
The public is invited to attend the “How Do Concussions Affect the Brain? Challenges and Opportunities with Traumatic Brain Injuries” Agnes W.H. Tan Science Symposium in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center from 9 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15. In-person and virtual options are available.

The United States Navy Band Sea Chanters will present a free public performance on Monday, May 2 at 7:30 p.m. in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.
Platinum Edition and Diamond Edition show choirs will present Celebration 2022 at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 23 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.
Entertainer Kenny Ahern will perform his family theatre show To Laugh is to Live! Saturday, April 23 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Weber Center for the Performing Arts Veterans Studio Theatre.
The Viterbo University music department will present Just My Imagination, a concert of flute and piano music featuring La Crosse native and New York City musician Dave Marck, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 8 in the Fine Arts Center Nola Starling Recital Hall.
