A new agreement between the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Viterbo University will assure qualified undergraduate students at Viterbo University early admittance to the MCW School of Pharmacy upon graduation.

Viterbo University has been awarded a $741,201 grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Health Resources and Services Administration Opioid Workforce Expansion Program.

Adam Zart ’12 became a pharmacist because he wanted to help people, and the lessons in servant leadership and Franciscan values he learned as a chemistry major at Viterbo University sharpened that focus. It also helped a lot when it came time to find a job.

Viterbo University and Milwaukee Public Schools have announced a new partnership designed to help alleviate the teacher shortage in the school district through a program that allows paraprofessionals and other employees to earn a bachelor’s degree in education.

One hundred thirty-eight undergraduate students and 38 master’s degree students will be candidates for graduation at Viterbo University’s winter commencement ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.

Viterbo University and Tuscia University in Viterbo, Italy, have formed an exchange program partnership that will allow students at either university to spend a semester or an academic year at the other for the cost of their tuition.
