WOMEN OF IRELAND TO PERFORM AT VITERBO MARCH 21

CROSSE, Wis. – The outstanding singers and musicians of Women of Ireland will bring their
special brand of Celtic music to the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main
Theatre stage at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 21.
Women
of Ireland features some of the Emerald Isle’s best female performers
alongside world-class musicians, singers, and dancers. The show is described as
“bringing together all the most adorned elements associated with Irish and
Celtic music, song, and dance in a super stage spectacle.”
Collectively, company members have
performed for three Irish presidents, three U.S. presidents, the Queen of
England, the president of China, and other world leaders and dignitaries. They
have played in some of the world’s greatest concert venues, including Radio
City Music Hall in New York, Moscow’s Kremlin State Palace, the Beijing Opera
House, the Sydney Opera House, and The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
Women of
Ireland is part of Viterbo’s Bright
Star Season and is sponsored by Mayo Clinic Health System, Franciscan
Healthcare and in part by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board, with funds
from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts. Wisconsin
Public Radio is the media sponsor.
Tickets are $34 for main floor, $30 for lower balcony,
