This Week: Although it is not technically their home track, the V-Hawks will be on familiar territory this week as they participate in the UW-La Crosse Phil Esten Challenge on April 17.
Last Week: Both the men and women placed second at the Ripon College Sherman-Lukoski Invitational this past weekend.
Men's Individual Note: Keegan Bludworth (JR/Leesburg, Ga.) won three events in Ripon. Bludworth's throw of 56.28 meters in the javelin was good enough for first place, surpassed the NAIA "B" qualifying standard, and broke the school record. The junior also earned first in the high jump and was part of the winning 4x100 meter relay team.
Women's Individual Note: Kayla King (FR/St. Croix, V.I.) continued her dominance. The freshman took home the 100 meter (12.95) and 200 meter (26.81) titles at the Sherman-Lukoski Invite.
