Group Fitness DEMO Week. Classes offered today include, 7:05 a.m. – Tone n’ Tighten, noon – Core n’ More, 4:30 p.m. – Totally Body HIIT. Classes are free for employees and members during DEMO weeks, and are always free for students. A reservation is required to attend class.
Sept. 6–12 is Suicide Prevention Week. Pain isn’t always obvious, but suicide is preventable. It’s okay to ask direct questions of someone who may be struggling. Research shows people who are having thoughts of suicide feel relief when someone asks after them in a caring way. Findings suggest acknowledging and talking about suicide may reduce rather than increase suicidal ideation. Call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline anytime to chat. 1-800-273-8255

Update your emergency text message and emergency contact information for the 2020 fall term. The emergency text message system notifies Viterbo students and employees via text messages on your cell phone for all campus wide emergencies, while the emergency contact information will help the university notify a family or friend in case of an emergency to you. This information can be updated online via Vitnet at: http://vitnet.viterbo.edu. For student click on Emergency Contact under the Academic Profile section. For employees click on Emergency Contact under the Supervisor Resources section. Update your information by Sept 30.
