Suicide Prevention Week takes place from Sept. 5–11. Counseling Services has information and awareness displays being held throughout campus during this awareness week. In addition, a suicide prevention booth will be held on Sept. 7 from 12:30–4:30 p.m. in Viterbo Court.

Each & Every Day film screening and discussion will take place Wednesday, Sept. 8 from 4:30–6 p.m. and Thursday, Sept. 9 from noon–1:30 p.m. in Brophy 123Each & Every Day is a documentary about youth mental health through the eyes of young people who have attempted suicide or struggled with suicidal thoughts.

The deadline to apply for December 2021 Commencement is Wednesday, Sept. 15. Students completing their degree requirements this fall should apply for graduation now at www.viterbo.edu/commencement. Watch your email in the weeks to come regarding commencement updates.

Friday, Sept. 3–Thursday, Sept. 9 campus buildings will only be open after 6:30 p.m. for public events that host attendees outside of the Viterbo Community.

10th Street is scheduled to be closed for repairs from Market Street to Franciscan Way beginning Monday, Sept. 13. During the closure, Franciscan Way will need to be accessed from the south. Affected areas will start to be blocked off the evening of Sunday, Sept. 12.

The Vaccine Reward Program has been extended until Sept. 19. Anyone ages 12 and up who gets their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by the deadline will be eligible to to receive a $100 Visa gift card. Proof of insurance, citizenship, or ID is not required.
