Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination and booster shots will be available on campus Tuesday, Oct. 5for those who meet eligibility and are at least 6 months past their primary Pfizer series. There is no cost for any COVID-19 vaccines or boosters. Vaccines and boosters will be available during Franny Fest at the health services booth in Assisi Courtyard from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. The populations eligible, including recommendations for booster doses 6 months after the primary Pfizer series are:
- People 65 years and older and residents in long-term care settings should receive a booster shot.
- People aged 50–64 years with certain underlying medical conditions should receive a booster shot.
- People aged 18–49 years with certain underlying medical conditions may receive a booster shot, based on their individual benefits and risks.
- People aged 18-64 years who are at increased risk for COVID-19 exposure and transmission because of occupational or institutional setting may receive a booster shot, based on their individual benefits and risks.
Booster vaccine recipients MUST bring their original vaccine card to receive a booster. Additional vaccine clinics will be announced as they are scheduled.
Celebrate the life and legacy of St. Francis during St. Francis Week Oct. 3–7 by participating in a variety of activities. The week-long schedule can be found here. Student clubs or divisions interested in having a table at Franny Fest (Tuesday, Oct. 5, 11:30 a.m. –1:15 p.m.) should fill out this Qualtrics survey by Friday, Oct. 1 at noon.
Employees are welcome to join Rick Trietley for a Conversations with the President session on Oct. 4 from 1–2 p.m. in the Kwik Trip Hospitality Suite. These sessions are not required, but offer an opportunity for some employees to have individual and small group discussions with the president. Rick will be available during these times and dates for employees to have one-on-one discussions, share good ideas, or employee concerns. No RSVP is necessary.

Touchstone Magazine is Viterbo’s student-led art and literary magazine. Students interested in paid positions as Literary Editor or Assistant Literary Editor should direct questions and/or send a resume and a letter describing their interest and qualifications to vlholtzwodzak@viterbo.edu. These are year-long positions with the bulk of the work taking place early spring semester. Application deadline is Friday, Oct. 8.
Paid positions of art editor, graphic designer, web designer, production assistant, and promotions coordinator are also available.
