6–7 p.m. Welcome Week RHA Ice Cream Social. Also enjoy various outdoor games. The recreation department will host a Bean Bag Tournament (pre-register), with the chance to win prizes. All activities will be in Marian Courtyard.

9 p.m. Taize Prayer – San Damiano Chapel

The annual Welcome Back Bash will be in Assisi Courtyard on Thursday, Sept. 3 from 1–3:30 p.m. Students are encouraged to attend this fun event, and may expect goodies and prizes, as well as great connections to the La Crosse and Viterbo communities.

Student Government Association (SGA) is providing free Viterbo masks to all students. Stop by the SGA table outside Murphy Center and the Varsity Athletic Center between noon–2 p.m. today and Friday to pick up a mask, learn more about all that SGA does, and get involved in student governance on campus.

Drone video footage of campus will be recorded Thursday and Friday.

Parking lots M and J will be reserved on Thursday for the Welcome Back Bash event.

Group Fitness DEMO Week. Classes offered today include, 7:05 a.m. – Yoga,  noon – Upper Body Strength, 3:30 p.m. – Lower Body Strength, 4:15 p.m. - Yoga. Classes are free for employees and members during DEMO week, and are always free for students. A reservation is required to attend class.

Join the Esports league challenges during Welcome Weeks. Games include FIFA2020, League of Legends, Madden2020, NBA2K20, Rocket League, and Super Smash Bros. Participants register on IMLeagues and challenge others. League runs until Monday, Sept. 7. Prizes awarded for league winners.

Off Campus students: Free hand sanitizer is available for off-campus students, along with the 2020–21 Student Handbook and Planner. Visit Murphy Center 226 between 8:30 a.m.–4 p.m. on the day specified. In order to spread out traffic into the office, come on these days according to the first letter of your last name: Tuesday: A–E; Wednesday: F–K; Thursday:  L–R; Friday: S–Z. Bottles can be refilled at any time at Physical Plant.

Effective immediately, Counseling Services will be meeting with students virtually for the remainder of this semester. This will allow students to meet with a counselor from the comfort of their homes and help staff prioritize the health and well-being of the entire campus community. While they will do their best to hold crisis appointments in person, the scheduling of “same day” appointments is encouraged whenever possible. Update your emergency text message and emergency contact information for the 2020 fall term. The emergency text message system notifies Viterbo students and employees via text messages on your cell phone for all campus wide emergencies, while the emergency contact information will help the university notify a family or friend in case of an emergency to you. This information can be updated online via Vitnet at: http://vitnet.viterbo.edu. For student click on Emergency Contact under the Academic Profile section. For employees click on Emergency Contact under the Supervisor Resources section. Update your information by Sept 30.

Students: You can still join a choir if you audition this week. Brett Robison will hear any singer interested in joining Concert Choir or Rose Chorale. Email bprobison@viterbo.edu for more information. Come join the choir family.

Students: Viterbo Athletics is seeking student workers for home athletic events this fall. The first home game is Men’s Soccer on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 3:30 p.m. at the Outdoor Athletic Complex. Students interested in working in athletics can email easimonson@viterbo.edu.
