The Psychology Club will be showing the Green Bandana Project training video for their first meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at 4 p.m. in MRC 414. Learn how to speak to someone struggling with their mental health and spread awareness for emotional well-being. At the meeting, there will be a showing of the Green Bandana Project training video and green bandanas will be handed out after the training. It is not required to be a psychology major or minor to attend the meeting, all are welcome. For questions, contact the psychology club president Lexi Oestreich at aoestr73635@viterbo.edu.

Writing and Scholarship Group: Interested faculty may join a daily Zoom meeting at 7:50 a.m. to meet briefly with peers before and after spending an hour on their own writing/scholarship. This group helps maintain whatever personal scholarship goals have been set. Join any or all days Monday–Friday this semester (Sept. 19–Dec. 16). Viterbo Leads is a new initiative to help build the next generation of women leaders in higher education through one-on-one mentorship and group enrichment sessions. This program targets early career professionals and will help those involved explore and expand their network and develop their career trajectory. Mid-way through the year, participants will be paired one on one with a campus leader. Nominations and self-nominations will open until Sept. 30. The mentorship program will begin in late October with a cohort of ten to fifteen. This program is a joint effort of the division of diversity, equity and inclusion and the College of Business, Leadership, Ethics, and Education. Student sustainability club will be collecting bags in the Copy and Mail Center for a Service Saturday project: making mats for the homeless.
As a part of Study Abroad Week, Sept. 19–23, students are being asked to participate in a contest that focuses on finding faculty and staff who have lived, researched, or studied abroad. Students will have to fill out a sheet and turn it in to win prizes. Faculty and staff who have lived, researched, or studied abroad are encouraged to print this sign and place it on their office door.
