The Viterbo community is invited to the Military Aligned Student Center ribbon cutting on Tuesday, Sept. 21 in Reinhart Center, room 006. The program will begin at 2:30 p.m. with a reception to follow.

Join the Identities Project Team on Tuesday, Sept. 21 at 6 p.m. as we host a civil dialogue exploring the different forms of activism we have seen this summer during the Olympics. We will reflect on the difference between activism and protesting, techniques of activism and protest, and reflect on our individual role to create change.

Angela Mensink’s dissertation defense will take place on Friday, Sept. 17 from 1 p.m.–2:30 p.m. in Murphy Center 346. The project is entitled, “Training for Clinical Site Supervisors and Examining Self-Efficacy.” The public is welcome to attend.

All students are invited to attend a free hip hop workshop with Viterbo alumnus Malachi Durant, an actor, singer, and dancer from Las Vegas, from 1–4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18 in the Fine Arts Center Dance Studio room 129.

Paid positions of art editor, graphic designer, web designer, production assistant, and promotions coordinator are available. The Viterbo University Athletics Department will host its 30th Annual Wall of Fame induction ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 18 at the Weber Center in downtown La Crosse. The event will begin at 3 p.m. with a social hour and refreshments followed by the ceremony at 4 p.m.

The Student Government Association is looking for a first-year student representative. Interested students must fill out an application by Friday, Sept. 17 to be included on the ballot.

The Vaccine Reward Program has been extended until Sept. 19. Anyone ages 12 and up who gets their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by the deadline will be eligible to to receive a $100 Visa gift card. Proof of insurance, citizenship, or ID is not required.
