Coming up:

Check out the Escape Rooms being built in Murphy library on Monday, Sept. 6. There will be a zombie-themed room and a wizardry-themed room. Sign up by Friday, Sept. 3 at noon.

Students and employees are invited to play chess with students at a university in La Crosse’s sister city, Dubna, Russia via Zoom from 10 a.m.–noon on Saturdays beginning Sept. 11. Go to chess.com to create a free account and email lugoviermusic788@yahoo.com to register to play. The activity is not designed to be competition based, but instead friendly for all skill levels and as an opportunity for dialogue.

The annual Welcome Back Bash will be held in Assisi Courtyard on Thursday, Sept. 2 from 1–3:30 p.m. Students will have opportunities to win prizes and make connections with the La Crosse and Viterbo communities.

A employee photo shoot will be held Thursday, Sept. 2 from 2–2:30 p.m. and Wednesday, Sept. 8 11–11:30 a.m. both in Brophy Center 125. Anyone needing their photo taken or updated should attend one of the events.

Faculty with an interest in learning how to create and lead short-term study abroad programs are invited to an information session on Wednesday, Sept. 8 from 5–6 p.m. in Nursing 104. Contact Brianna Rice, bkrice@viterbo.edu with any questions.

Stop by the Study Abroad Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 8 from 9 a.m.–2 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center FSPA lobby. Learn how to add adventure to the college experience and win scholarships for study abroad. Group Fitness Demo Weeks schedule is available. Classes are free for employees and students. Today’s classes include yoga at noon and 5 p.m. Be sure to make a reservation prior to coming to class.

Current Pi Phi members: Pi Phi is seeking a student who is interested in being on their board as the student ambassador. The student ambassador would attend monthly meetings, provide input based on their knowledge of the nursing students, and assist with educational events provided throughout the year. Students looking for a job close to campus but do not qualify for work study can check out the local jobs map with opportunities less than a 15 minute walk from campus.
