6 p.m. Join Spanish club in setting up and decorating an ofrenda in San Damiano Chapel for the Day of the Dead. Feel free to bring a picture of a beloved departed one to add to the altar.

As part of this semester’s Student Theatre Initiative, students from the Theatre and Music Theatre department will perform Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare (abridged) in Assisi Courtyard Saturday, Oct. 31 at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. Tickets are free, however attendance is limited to the Viterbo campus community and family and pre-registration is encouraged. This is an outdoor and socially distanced production with lawn seating. Bring your own blankets/beach chairs/warm beverages. Employees: Join the Faculty Development Committee for this year’s Virtual Celebration of Faculty Scholarship Friday, Oct. 30 from 3:30–5 p.m. This event offers a venue for faculty to share their scholarly and artistic work and for all employees to celebrate scholarship at Viterbo. Viterbo health services continues to have flu vaccine available. Students and employees can schedule an appointment on the health services website by clicking the Book Now button.

Anyone mailing an absentee ballot is invited to get a free USPS tracking label from the Viterbo Copy Center.

Participate in Service Saturday Nov. 7. Locations include Holy Trinity Longfellow Neighborhood Association, Boy Scouts of America, Catholic Charities Warming Center, Viterbo Physical Plant, and a knit-a-thon. The Service Saturday team is collecting clean, unsoiled plastic bags to create mats for homeless neighbors. Drop off bags in the Hawk’s Nest in the designated box. Art Olympics: Today’s activity is a DIY Candle Lampshade. Submit a picture of your artwork anytime today on Microsoft Teams or on Instagram by tagging @viterborecreation to count participation. Two more activities to participate in this weekend: Drawing and online Art Trivia. If you haven’t registered, you can still participate with your own materials. Viterbo Votes Tip of the Week: Two days remain for early voting in Wisconsin. Skip the Election Day lines, and register to vote and vote in the same visit to City Hall today and tomorrow. Visit www.viterbo.edu/voting to make sure you have everything you need to vote - including your signed Viterbo student ID - before walking or riding the (free!) city bus down to City Hall at 400 La Crosse St. Have questions or want someone to take a look at your materials to make sure you have all of the required documents and information? Stop by the Student Affairs Office in Murphy Center 224.
