Celebrate Halloween with Viterbo’s Platinum Edition and Diamond Edition show choirs as they present Spooktacular at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre. The box office will be open Thursday, Oct. 28 from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. and two hours before the performance on Saturday, Oct. 30. Viterbo students and employee discounts are available with ID in person at the box office.

Save the date for the 2021 Community Conversation on Servant Leadership Wednesday, Nov. 17 from 7–9:30 a.m. in the Fine Arts Center FSPA Lobby. Kim Smith, mayor of Onalaska, and Rick Kyte, PhD, director of the D.B. Reinhart Center for Ethics in Leadership will be presenting. All are welcome and there is no cost to attend. The Education Club is looking for volunteers for their annual Safe Trick or Treat on Saturday, Oct. 30 from 12–2 p.m. in Assisi Courtyard. Volunteer opportunities include handing out candy to Trick-or-Treaters, running Halloween games, and creating decorations for the event. Registration is now open for the second season of Intramurals. Leagues include recreational volleyball, competitive volleyball, 3-on-3 basketball, and doubles badminton and run from Nov. 1 through Dec. 9. Registration closes tonight at 8 p.m. Register on IMLeagues.  

The Viterbo community is invited to attend the V-Hawk Volleyween Bash on Friday, Oct. 29 beginning at 5 p.m. in front of the Varsity Athletics Center. Activities will include a trick or treat tailgate (children welcome), costume contest, women’s volleyball game, and “Viterbo After Dark,” a ghostly tour of Viterbo’s most haunted places. With the recent approval from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS), Viterbo’s health services staff now can provide booster shots to individuals who meet the elapsed time between primary series and booster. Health services has Pfizer vaccine available. If you received Johnson & Johnson as your primary vaccine, you can receive a Pfizer booster two months after your primary vaccination. If you received Pfizer or Moderna, you can receive a Pfizer booster six months after your primary series. If you start a Moderna or Pfizer vaccination series, you should complete both vaccinations with the same manufacturer. Contact health services with questions at scdanielson@viterbo.edu.
