Employee Wellbeing Presentation Oct. 28 at noon: "Gratitude Attitude: Thriving versus Surviving in the Workplace.” Responding to the ongoing changes and challenges resulting from the need to respond to safety measures during the pandemic can feel exhausting. Adopting a "gratitude attitude" can help develop a healthy perspective and create a greater sense of connection and wellness within the context of our work environment. This presentation offers contemplation on experiences that increase the sense of wellness through the practice of gratitude. Art Olympics Oct. 26–Nov. 1. Did you know that experiencing art can have a positive impact on mental health wellbeing? The Viterbo Recreation and Leadership department is offering a series of artistic activities to encourage students to use art as a therapeutic tool. Mandala Coloring, String Painting, DIY Candle Lampshade, Drawing, online Art Trivia and opportunity to win prizes are offered. The more activities you participate in, the more chances to win. Most materials are provided. If you have registered for the activities above, you can pick up your material kits Monday, Oct. 26 from 1–4 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 27 from 2–4 p.m. in Mathy Center. If you have not registered, but still want to participate, you can walk in during those hours to register and pick up a kit. Contact Christina Repa at crepa68509@viterbo.edu with any questions.

All gamers, novice to expert, are invited to complete this esports survey and join the Viterbo Recreation discord channel (QR code in the survey). Through this channel there will be matches set up on games including, Madden NFL, NBA2K, Super Smash Bros, Fortnite, and Rocket League. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers at the end of the semester.

Service Saturdays Student Leader, apply today: Looking to give back to our Viterbo and local community in meaningful ways? There is one vacant Service Saturdays Student Leader position available to start in Jan. 2021. CLICK HERE to access the application and to learn more about the position. Viterbo Rings December Service Saturday: Viterbo Rings tradition will continue this year, with a few COVID19 modifications. On Saturday, Dec. 5, Viterbo will take over all the Salvation Army Red Kettle bell-ringing locations across the county. Groups are needed to “adopt” a site on that day, committing to staffing the shifts with at least one person from 10 a.m.–8 p.m. If you’re part of a Viterbo-affiliated group (student org, academic department, or a team of employees), email Colin with your interest in adopting a site by Nov. 2.
