Today starts a national week-long celebration of First-Generation (fg) college students. Being a first-gen student means neither of your parents or guardians completed a four-year college degree. Nationally about 35% of students enrolled in higher education are the first in their family to attend college. 36% of Viterbo first-year students are first generation. Congratulations to our fg students on this milestone.
