7 p.m. First-year music theatre department students perform short selections of solo songs – FAC LaCroix Black Box Theatre. Free admission, seating on a first-come, first-served basis. Masks required.

8 p.m. Weekends at VU Bingo – Murphy Center 414. Snacks and a chance to win prizes.

 

Saturday, Nov. 6

1 p.m. Women’s Volleyball vs. Dakota State – Varsity Athletics Center

3–5 p.m. Weekends at VU Scavenger Hunt in Downtown La Crosse – Meet at the Hawk's Nest at 3 p.m., get the list of items to find, and move quickly to be one of the first teams back to earn a prize.

4 p.m. Men’s Basketball vs. Grand View University – Varsity Athletics Center. The dance team will perform at halftime.

Coming up:

The Seven Rivers Undergraduate Research Symposium is next Friday, Nov. 12. The Viterbo community is encouraged to attend sessions throughout the day. You do not have to register to attend sessions, but if you would like to attend lunch register here no later than Tuesday at noon. Molecular Genetics students will be discussing germline gene therapy Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. in RCE 201. Everyone welcome to join.

Starting Monday, Nov. 8 is the final week in the mental health awareness series. There will be activities each day all week to help check on mental health. If you wish to participate in these activities simply take a photo of yourself doing the activity and post to social media tagging Viterbo Recreation and using the hashtag Mental health awareness. Monday 15–30 minutes meditation, Tuesday Sleep tracking (use an app to track quality of sleep,) Wednesday attend a group fitness yoga class; Thursday a mindfulness walk and note down what you notice, Friday start a journal.

Employees: Reminder, the Hospitality Committee is hosting a fall potluck Monday from noon–1 p.m. in the NRC lobby and 195. At the potluck will be an opportunity to write thank you cards to veteran Viterbo community members in honor of upcoming Veterans Day.
