Coming up:

December Graduate Countdown to Commencement is Tuesday, Nov. 9 from 3:30–5:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center FSPA Lobby. Pick up regalia (cap and gown), honor medallions, learn about the senior class gift, alumni benefits, and graduate programs, enjoy a celebratory performance by VU chorales, and learn important information about commencement weekend celebrations. Graduates can take a complimentary grad photo at this event to upload into a graduate slideshow. Complimentary appetizers and refreshments are available to celebrate upcoming graduation. Registration for a Self-Defense class Wednesday, Nov. 17 is now open. The class will be held 5–6 p.m. in the multi-purpose room in the Mathy Center.

The next Pause for Paws event will run Tuesday, Nov. 16 from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. in the Nursing Center lobby.

The Breaking Barriers Diversity Club is hosting a movie night on Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. in the Diversity Lounge. The movie will discuss LGBTQ in today's youth. Snacks and beverages will be provided, blankets optional.

Viterbo Rings Service Saturday will take place Dec. 11. Viterbo will take over the Salvation Army Red Kettle bell-ringing locations across the county. Groups are needed to “adopt” a site on that day, committing to staffing the shifts with at least one person from 10 a.m.–8 p.m. If you’re part of a Viterbo-affiliated group (student org, academic/services department, or a team of employees), email Colin with your interest in adopting a site by Nov. 12 at cgburnsgilbert@viterbo.edu.

Weekends at VU is hosting the first bingo session of the year on Friday, Nov. 5. Join for a chance to eat snacks and win prizes. Weekends at VU is also hosting a scavenger hunt in downtown La Crosse on Saturday, Nov. 6. Those interested in participating should meet at the Hawk’s Nest at 3 p.m., get a list of the items to find, and move quickly to be one of the first teams back to earn a prize.

First-year music theatre department students will perform short selections of solo songs Friday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. in the FAC LaCroix Black Box Theatre. Welcome these students to the Viterbo community by cheering them on in the first ever First Year Cabaret. Free admission, seating on a first-come, first-served basis. Masks required.

Traditional undergraduate students are required to have registration approval from their assigned advisor prior to registration.
