The art department is hosting an Empty Bowl Project and Christmas Market this Friday, Dec. 2, on the Fine Arts Center third floor from 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Ten dollars buys you one handmade bowl filled with delicious chili. A Christmas Market will be open in the gallery throughout the event. All proceeds to go to local charities.
The office of mission and ministry invites any full-time Viterbo employee to apply for the AFCU Franciscan Pilgrimage to Assisi and Rome, May 14–24, 2023. Applications are due Jan. 6. Protect yourself and your family from COVID-19 for Christmas and get your booster shot before going home. Health Services will be offering the Pfizer Bivalent Booster shots weekly on Tuesday afternoons and all day on Fridays (8 a.m.–noon and 1–4 p.m.) before the Christmas break. There is no cost for the vaccine and you can walk-in for the shot. Bring your vaccine card along with you. For questions call Health Services at 796-3806.
The Food for Finals committee is looking for food and monetary donations for the week of Dec. 12. Four locations will be available during finals week for students to grab a snack as they study for their exams. Viterbo employees are invited to donate individually bagged treats, pre-packaged snacks, and non-refrigerated items. Monetary donations can be sent in a sealed envelope via intra-campus mail to Mary Mormann (MRC 510). Food donations can be dropped off at the Copy Center, the library, the Nursing Center's first-floor counter, and outside the Academic Resource Center (MRC 332). Monetary donations are accepted at any time. Freshly baked items may be dropped off at the Academic Resource Center at any time during finals week.
