Franciscan Footsteps: A Vocation Workshop: All faculty and staff that work directly with students are invited to participate in a retreat on Thursday, Dec. 2 from 2:30–4:30 p.m. to learn about calling, vocation, and how to implement the ideas in their everyday work with students. The retreat will be held in Reinhart 134. Registration is required to attend. Contact zodeboer@viterbo.edu to reserve your spot.

Join the faculty development committee for a brainstorming session on student success with the Viterbo student-support staff on Tuesday, Nov. 30, from 3:30–4:30 in RCE 134. Come ready to share concerns and/or solutions, especially as they relate to student readiness for college and to mental health issues on campus. All are invited to attend the DNP Final Defense of Robin Haugh in NRC 202 at 10 a.m. on Dec. 1. The presentation is titled “Implementing an Interprofessional Wound Care Collaboration Model in a Rural Health Organization.” Those interested in attending in person or via Zoom should contact Michele Merten at mmmerten@viterbo.edu.

Employees are invited to participate in a Chair Yoga session on Tuesday, Nov. 30 from 12:15–12:45 p.m. in Brophy 123. The session will be facilitated by students in the master’s in mental health counseling program.

Identities Project has collaborated with Black Student Leaders for their Adopt-A-Teen Christmas Drive. Help serve our community well this holiday season. Adopt-a-teen from the tree in Murphy Lobby, Venmo any amount to @HannahLynnAmann with a note saying "BSL Christmas" or bring cash to Hawk's Nest 103, Murphy 325, or Murphy 445. All donations should be made by Dec. 8.

The Breaking Barriers Diversity Club will be hosting a movie night on Tuesday, Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. The movie discusses LGBTQ+ in today's youth. All are welcomed to attend. Snacks and beverages will be provided, blankets are encouraged.

Pi Phi is volunteering for Salvation Army Bell Ringers. Current faculty members and students who are members of Pi Phi or students who would like to help out. The location will be Farm and Fleet Onalaska from 10 a.m.–8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11. Follow this link to sign up for a 2-hour slot.

All employees and the special children in their lives are invited to the Alumni Children’s Christmas Party, Saturday, Dec. 4, 10 a.m.–noon in the Fine Arts Center FSPA Lobby. Join the young and young at heart for some Christmas carols, photo with Santa, face painting, crafts, refreshments, and more. RLST-486 Christianity and Economic Inequality has been approved for this requirement and runs Mondays from 3:30–6:30 p.m. for the duration of the semester.
