6 p.m. Identities Project: Civil Dialogue-Religious Expression – Nursing 196 – Religion, faith, and spirituality are important in how individuals perceive themselves and engage in the world around them. Rarely do individuals reflect on their own spirituality in relation to other faith backgrounds, ask questions, and debunk myths and stereotypes about faith practices. In this Identities Project civil dialogue, there will be a panel of individuals representing a variety of faith and spirituality backgrounds. Participants will discuss their own practices, ask mindful questions of one another, and work to create space for an inclusive interfaith campus community.

A New Year’s Eve Gala to benefit the “Save Our Steinways” fund at Viterbo University will be held on Friday, Dec. 31 from 8:30 p.m.–12:15 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 1 at the Weber Center for the Performing Arts. The evening will feature live music by jazz quartet Dave Marck, Greg Balfany, Karyn Quinn, and Rich McDonald and cabaret entertainment by Kayla Shue, Carter Semb and Nancy Allen. The event will also include champagne toasts, appetizers, party favors, and a cash bar. Tickets for the gala are $70, and only 120 will be sold. To purchase tickets, contact the Viterbo Advancement Office at 608-796-3070 or advancement@viterbo.edu. The deadline to purchase tickets is Friday, Dec. 17.
The second concert of the Out of Our Minds Chamber Series will be performed in Viterbo University’s Nola Starling Recital Hall on Saturday, Nov. 20 at 7:30 p.m.
Reminder to undergraduate students: Complete the “Academic Advising Perception Inventory” by Tuesday, Nov. 23. The survey asks students to provide feedback about their advisor and Viterbo’s advising program. Students should watch their Viterbo email for an invitation to participate. Students can also enter their name for a prize drawing.
Employees: Join Rick Trietley for a Conversations with the President session on Friday, Nov. 19 from 10–11 a.m. in the Kwik Trip Hospitality Suite. This session is not required, but offer an opportunity for some employees to have individual and small group discussions with the president. Rick will be available for employees to have one-on-one discussions, share good ideas, or employee concerns. No RSVP is necessary.
