Join the library Nov. 15–19 for a Virtual Scavenger Hunt. This year’s questions are a bit trickier than last year’s, and will require more digging, so participants will have extra time to submit their answers. The person with the most correct answers will win a $20 Amazon gift card just in time to start Christmas shopping. More details will be posted on the library’s website, Facebook page, and Instagram account on Friday, Nov. 12. The questions will be posted at noon on Monday, Nov. 15, and the deadline for submissions will be noon on Friday, Nov. 19.
Kody Green, motivational speaker and mental health advocate, will talk about his experience living with schizophrenia, mental health in college, and mental health awareness on Tuesday, Nov. 16 at 6 p.m. in NRC 196. Viterbo Rings Service Saturday will take place Dec. 11. Viterbo will take over the Salvation Army Red Kettle bell-ringing locations across the county. Groups are needed to “adopt” a site on that day, committing to staffing the shifts with at least one person from 10 a.m.–8 p.m. Those part of a Viterbo-affiliated group (student org, academic/services department, or a team of employees), email Colin with your interest in adopting a site by Nov. 12 at cgburnsgilbert@viterbo.edu.
