Coming Up:

On Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m., the Identities Project and Campus Ministry will sponsor an event through Community Supported Films called New Immigrants and Refugees Visions. This program will raise up the voices of new immigrants to the U.S. to highlight experiences and perspectives that often get lost in the national conversation.  Participants will screen three films made by new immigrants/refugees (about 10-min each) and then be led in processing by at least three guests who are directly involved (director, film subject, CSFilm founder). DNP Students Stephanie Schrader and Callie Johnson will present their project final defenses Wednesday, Nov. 11. Schrader will present “Enhancing Adolescent Risk Perception of Electronic Cigarette Use” at 8 a.m. and Johnson will present “Program Evaluation of Advanced Practice Providers Onboarding Mode” at 9 a.m. Viterbo community members are invited to attend. Attend the annual Veterans Day Service hosted by Viterbo Military Aligned Student Support and Campus Ministry Nov. 11. The ceremony will run from 11 a.m.–12 p.m. and will feature guest speaker and Viterbo alumnus MSgt Jaqueline Franck, Wisconsin Air Force National Guard. The ceremony will honor U.S. military veterans, and Viterbo faculty, staff, and students who are veterans will be recognized. In-person attendance is limited to 50 participants. December Graduate Countdown to Commencement Wednesday, Nov. 11 from 3:30–5:30 p.m. Fine Arts Center FSPA Lobby. Pick up grad kits which includes cap and gown, honor medallions, celebratory items and important information about commencement weekend celebrations. Graduates can take a complimentary grad photo at this event to upload into a graduate slideshow. Schedule a time to attend the event to allow everyone to social distance.
