Attention students and faculty: Most library books (not to be confused with textbook rentals) are due back by Friday, May 13. Remember to return all of your library books before you leave campus for the summer to avoid late fees and replacement charges. Note that students may not be able to register or receive a diploma until library fines are settled.
Join the Music Department for their annual Honor’s Recital and Awards Ceremony, Saturday, May 7 at 7 p.m. in the Nola Starling Recital Hall. Ten students were chosen by audition to perform in this recital. Scholarships from our special donors will be awarded, as well as honors from the music department faculty. The Concert Choir will also perform at the end of the ceremony. A reception will follow. The recital is free and open to the public.

El Sol, Spanish Newspaper Spring 2022 edition is now available online: https://elsolspanishnewspaper.com/. Students from SPAN 306 worked on several articles from teaching Spanish language in both La Crosse and rural schools in Wisconsin to impact of COVID-19 among Latinx, services available for the homeless community of St. Claire Mission, among other topics. The Copy Center is looking for summer student workers, office hours are 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. We have 30 hours/week available in May, 15 hours/week available in June and July and 20 hours/week available in August.
