Do you know a rising 10th, 11th, or 12th grader that has a passion for social justice? Interested in sharing Franciscan values with the young people of our community? Registration is now open for Franciscan CORE 2022 scheduled for June 19–24. This five-day summer social justice and theology institute offers education, experience, and reflection on Catholic Social Teaching themes and principles using a Franciscan lens. Participants learn from the religious studies and theology faculty and serve the community with current Viterbo students. Franciscan CORE seeks to develop empathetic and grounded leaders for the world and the Church through: Compassion for those on the margins, Outreach to those in need, Reflection on God’s call, and Experience of community and service.
