The virtual WI Education Recruitment Fair is today, March 23 from 3–7 p.m. in Handshake. Candidates who are interested in working in the K-12 school setting will have a chance to engage with school districts from Wisconsin and through the U.S. as you explore their K-12 opportunities. This is the perfect venue to connect with employers and to learn more about what they are looking for in candidates for their district.
Wednesday, March 24. UWL is hosting a Virtual Summer & Part-Time Job Fair in Handshake from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Viterbo students are invited to attend this fair to meet with summer camp employers from throughout the U.S. and local employers looking for part-time and seasonal employees.

A mindfulness and meditation session will be held on Wednesday, March 24 at 5 p.m. in the Mathy Center multipurpose room. This session is in place of the regularly scheduled yoga class for this week only. Individuals are encouraged to dress comfortably, bring blankets and a yoga mat (some are available in the space for use). Space is limited to 15 participants and individuals may reserve a spot on the Recreation Bookings page.
The Viterbo Art Department will host a series of art workshops for the Viterbo community starting this week. Workshops are open to all Viterbo students, faculty, and staff. No art experience is necessary. Space is limited and registration is required. Workshops will be held on some Thursday evenings from 6–8 p.m. and some Friday afternoons from 2–4 p.m. Register by sending your name and preferred workshop interest to sjlisota@viterbo.edu. Workshops this week are: Open Clay Studio: Try your hand in creating functional or sculptural forms in clay, on the potter's wheel or by hand-building them. Dan Stokes will guide beginners and advanced makers alike. Fridays from 2–4 p.m. in Fine Arts Center 301. Space is limited to 10. Mindful Art: This workshop will provide participants with the experience of using art as an alternative therapeutic tool to explore their emotions, become aware of them, give them an opportunity to discuss them, and create positive affirmations. Led by Christina Repa. All skill levels welcome. Friday, March 26 from 2–4 p.m. in Fine Arts Center 317. Space is limited to 15.

The session is facilitated by Mariah Smith, Masters in Mental Health Counseling student and is sponsored by Viterbo Recreation, Masters in Mental Health Counseling program, and Counseling Services.

If your EFC (expected family contribution) from the 2020-2021 FAFSA is “0”, and/or you qualify for Federal Work Study, even if you do not currently have a FWS award, you may qualify for SNAP benefits under temporary student exemptions.
