The Viterbo Art Department will host a series of art workshops for the Viterbo community starting this week. Workshops are open to all Viterbo students, faculty, and staff. No art experience is necessary. Space is limited and registration is required. Workshops will be held on some Thursday evenings from 6–8 p.m. and some Friday afternoons from 2–4 p.m. Register by sending your name and preferred workshop interest to sjlisota@viterbo.edu. Workshops this week are: Open Clay Studio: Try your hand in creating functional or sculptural forms in clay, on the potter's wheel or by hand-building them. Dan Stokes will guide beginners and advanced makers alike. Fridays from 2–4 p.m. in Fine Arts Center 301. Space is limited to 10. Mindful Art: This workshop will provide participants with the experience of using art as an alternative therapeutic tool to explore their emotions, become aware of them, give them an opportunity to discuss them, and create positive affirmations. Led by Christina Repa. All skill levels welcome. Friday, March 26 from 2–4 p.m. in Fine Arts Center 317. Space is limited to 15.
Pop-Up Service: One takeaway the Service Saturdays team has heard over the last few weeks is a desire to connect with each other and a more accessible service outlet. Students be hosting pop-up service opportunities over the next few weeks with no registration required. Stop in to the Hawk’s Nest for 5 minutes or 50 minutes and contribute to the projects: Tuesday, March 23 from 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. Craft thoughtful cards for some of the Sisters living in St. Rose Convent. Friday, March 26 and Friday, April 9 from 1:30–3 p.m. Make progress on the plastic bag upcycle project.

IIT & Instructional Support Services would like to remind you that when you are asked to authenticate in Zoom Desktop, remember to choose Sign in with SSO. Your username and password will be the same as your email address and network password. It would also be good practice to log out of Zoom when you are done for the day, instead of just closing the application.
