Coming Up:

A mindfulness and meditation session will be held Wednesday, March 24 at 5 p.m. in the Mathy Center multipurpose room. This session is in place of the regularly scheduled yoga class for this week only. Individuals are encouraged to dress comfortably, bring blankets and a yoga mat (some are available in the space for use). Space is limited to 15 participants and individuals may reserve their spot on the Recreation Bookings page.

Employees: It’s not too late to join The March Madness Walking competition. Grab some team mates (some still need members) and compete until March 31. Teams of four across campus can sign up and track daily minutes here: March Madness teams and minutes sign up. Theatre and music theatre department students will perform three different one act shows this week in the Main Theatre as part of the Spring 2021 Production Season. Audiences are limited to 55 attendees (social distancing and masks required). Free admission. Notices:

Viterbo will not receive any vaccine next week. Everyone is encouraged to find an alternative vaccination site if available, including Walgreens. Reminder that if you are in the eligible groups, you can find vaccination sites open to the public where you may be able to schedule an appointment for vaccination.

A case of a variant strain of COVID-19 has been identified in La Crosse County. Everyone is reminded is it important to continue recommended health practices including wearing a mask, social distancing, and getting vaccinated when you are eligible.

Seeking undergraduate students to participate in pilot Wellness Coaching Program. Learn about your own personal wellbeing and have an impact on the development of a new wellness coaching program that will launch this fall. Participants would meet with a wellness coach for 2-3 one-hour sessions over the remainder of the semester (via Zoom or in person) and will be eligible for $50 gift card! COVID-19 has continued to affect college-aged students in numerous ways. Students are researching how food availability has affected college students during campus closures. This survey is anonymous, and the data received will help researchers understand the need for both continued and new advertisement and support of the Viterbo food pantries. El Sol Spanish Newspaper is looking for a web page designer familiar with WordPress HIVE theme to update the publication website. Job duties include improving current page, uploading and designing new articles from previous editions. Stipend of $250 coming from SGA Funds. Those interested should send an email to elsol@viterbo.edu including at least one picture sample or URL of Web Page design using HIVE.  Proficiency in Intermediate Spanish Language level desired, but not strictly necessary. Applications will be reviewed as received.
