The MLK Day of Service, Learning, and Celebration is Monday, Jan. 17. One of the best ways to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is to actively serve our community. There are 250+ service options available between 8:30 a.m. and noon. Participants are encouraged to register for their project as soon as possible, but before 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 15. Those interested in serving as a site leader should indicate that in their registration notes. Everyone will receive a confirmation email for their project the day before. Click here to access the MLK Day of Service, Learning, and Celebration website for an overview of events.

A service immersion opportunity at Fort McCoy will be held January 12–14. Volunteers are needed to engage with guests, guide them in their lessons, monitor supplies, and make their stay in Wisconsin a little more enjoyable. Starting Jan. 7, all volunteers at Fort McCoy must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Those interested should register by emailing Colin Burns-Gilbert and complete a brief form to help with base access approval. The deadline to register to serve is Friday, Jan. 7 at 9 a.m.

Sign up your child for the Dance Team Kid's Clinic Jan. 15. Participants will perform at half-time of the 3 p.m. women's basketball game. The clinic is for children ages 5–10 years old.
