The President’s Office has a limited number of complimentary tickets for Viterbo students (one per person) to Mads Tolling & The Mads Men Thursday, Feb. 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Viterbo Fine Arts Center (FAC) Main Theatre. The tickets are assigned seating and first come, first served. Bring your student ID to the box office or FAC room 102 if the box office is closed. Tickets must be picked up by 7 p.m. Feb. 3.

Explore the meaning of life with the cast of the Viterbo University Conservatory for the Performing Arts production of the introspective dramatic comedy Everybody 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4 and Saturday, Feb. 5 in the Fine Arts Center LaCroix Black Box Theatre. www.viterbo.edu/tickets

Deconstructing White Privilege in Advising Tuesday, Feb. 8 from 1–1:50 p.m. in Murphy Center 346 and Zoom. Faculty and academic advisors are invited to join in a discussion about Tema Okun’s article “White Supremacy Culture” and Peggy McIntosh’s article “White Privilege: Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack.” These articles will help bring awareness to privilege so participants may discuss how it relates to advising practices and how these practices might be changed. Participants are not required to read the articles before the discussion, as an overview will be presented. Sponsored by Academic Advising.

WAICU Nonprofit Internships are now posted on Handshake and include 27 summer opportunities for a variety of majors. Students accepted into the program complete a 10-week (400 hour) summer internship and receive a $2,000 stipend and a $3,000 scholarship.

FAC Tickets Reminder: Viterbo student and employee discounts for Conservatory for the Performing Arts performances are available with ID in person at the Viterbo box office, which is open Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. and two hours before each performance in the main theatre and one hour prior to performances at the LaCroix Black Box, Nola Starling Recital Hall, and the Weber Center for the Performing Arts.

Students are needed for Phonathon efforts this Spring. Gain experience with this short-term, on-campus employment offering fun and flexibility. You do not have to be eligible for work study to participate. Wages begin at $9/hr.
