The Viterbo Community is invited to attend Leadership at Noon with Vendi Advertising on Wednesday, Feb. 23 from noon–1 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center FSPA Lobby. The presentations are free and open to the public. No registration is required. More details can be found on the Ethics Institute webpage.

Viterbo Men’s Basketball team is hosting Waldorf this Wednesday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. All students get in free with a valid ID.

The President’s Office has a limited number of complimentary tickets for Viterbo students (one per person) to Canadian Brass Tuesday, Feb. 22  at 7:30 p.m. in the Viterbo Fine Arts Center (FAC) Main Theatre. The tickets are assigned seating and first come, first served. Bring your student ID to either the Box Office or FAC room 102. Tickets must be picked up by 7 p.m.

A Night at the Opera Presents: Speed Dating Tonight! will be performed by the Viterbo University Conservatory for the Performing Arts at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25 and Saturday, Feb. 26 in the Fine Arts Center Nola Starling Recital Hall. The next Contemplation Workshop will take place on Friday, Feb. 25 at 10 a.m. in the Interfaith Prayer Room in the Campus Ministry building. Professor Michelle Pinzl will lead us in a meditative practice. This session will last 30 minutes and everyone is welcome to attend.

The Breaking Barriers Diversity Club has partnered with other campus clubs and departments, UW-L. and WTC to bring the workshop Black + Mental Health+ Matters to Viterbo on Thursday, March 3 from 6–8 p.m. in NRC 196. Registration is free.This workshop is co-hosted by the non-profit organization Art with Impact. While this event centers Black students, all campus community members are invited to attend. However, comments or participation from allies that pull focus away from Black mental health will be respectfully redirected.

Sign up for self-defense on Wednesday, Feb. 23 from 5–6 p.m. and learn from the great team at Ironworks Driftless Academy.

Viterbo will host a week of events March 27–April 1 to honor Thea Bowman, '65 FSPA, and mark the establishment of the Sister Thea Bowman Center and the renaming of the campus ministry building in her memory. More details on Sister Thea Bowman Week, which will include a Mass, concerts, panel discussions, and more, can be found on the event webpage.

Several students will present their DNP proposal or final defense on Wednesday, Feb. 23. The Viterbo community is invited to attend any of these sessions. Call for core course proposals: Faculty interested in submitting courses for the new core curriculum category of social justice and equity should complete the course approval form and send it to Jackie Herbers at jmherbers@viterbo.edu. The first round of submissions will be considered by the Core Curriculum Committee at its March 10 meeting.
