Coming Up:

The Breaking Barriers Diversity Club and FSPA are sponsoring Chevara Orrin's “A Movement Not a Moment: 21st Century Activism” presentation. Orrin will discuss Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr's legacy while sharing stories from her father, Rev. James Luther Bevel. The event will be held Tuesday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. on Zoom. The Viterbo Honors Program will host Chili Week Feb. 22–26. Starting, Monday, Feb. 22, a daily scavenger hunt will be held featuring clues in the form of limericks. Find a can of beans and earn 10 raffle tickets for the Chili Day raffle. Then attend on Friday, Feb. 26 in Murphy Center Lobby for events including a spicy twist on "Guess How Many Beans in the Jar" as well as the raffle drawing for several baskets containing unique chili recipes and all the ingredients needed to make them.

Students: celebrate National Study Abroad Day on Monday, Feb. 22. Stop by the Student Union from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. to earn prizes and learn about study abroad.

Join the religious studies and theology department Thursday, Feb. 18 at 7 p.m. for a virtual presentation titled “Rethinking Christian Responses to Islamophobia.” The guest speaker for this event will be Todd Green, associate professor religion at Luther College. This presentation will be a Facebook live event, lived streamed from the La Crosse Interfaith Shoulder to Shoulder Network’s Facebook page – https://www.facebook.com/LISSNLaCrosse.
