The Recreation Department is hosting Glow Night tomorrow night in Assisi Courtyard at 8:30 p.m. for all Viterbo Students.
The Welcome Back Bash, Thursday, Sept. 1 in Assisi Courtyard, brings together new and returning students and staff to connect and engage with over 80 local businesses, volunteer opportunities, and on-campus resources. New and returning students and staff are welcome to walk through the Welcome Back Bash anytime between 1–4 p.m. to receive information, giveaway items, and food from participating groups. This is the event to learn about student involvement and engagement opportunities.
College Transition Group: Counseling services is offering a new group starting on Tuesday, Sept. 6 from 4–5 p.m., it will continue through the beginning of October. This group will give first year and/or transfer students a chance to meet others and process their shared experiences.
The Season of Creation is marked throughout the Christian world from Sept. 1–Oct. 4 (Feast of St. Francis) and celebrates the joy of creation as well as encouraging awareness-raising initiatives to protect the natural environment. The theme for the Season of Creation in 2022 is “Listen to the Voice of Creation”. Viterbo in partnership with the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration will launch the season with a prayer service this Thursday evening, Sept. 1, at 7 p.m. in the FSPA prayer garden. All are welcome.
The Agnes W. H. Tan Symposium will be held Friday, Sept. 16. The theme this year is Who is Being Left Behind? A symposium on equity in health care. The Viterbo community is welcome to attend one or all of the sessions. Registration is free and easy. See the schedule of presenters here.
Singers of all abilities are invited to join the St. Francis Choir at San Damiano Chapel. The The choir sings for Masses on Sunday mornings at 11 a.m. (rehearsals are just before at 10 a.m.). St. Francis Choir also sings for special events on campus, Holy Days, and holidays. Instrumentalists are welcome as well. Viterbo's Praise and Worship Team "Faith by the Foot" is looking for musicians. Praise and Worship Services are two Thursdays a month in the chapel––contemporary praise music.
