Employees are reminded to attend the mandatory training, LGBTQ+ 101, on Tuesday, August 24, 12:45-1:45 pm in the Main Theatre. This presentation will discuss important terminology regarding the LGBTQ+ community and will focus on helping participants understand why and how we can better serve this population. Concepts such as power and privilege, microaggressions, and pronoun usage will be addressed with the intent of creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment that upholds Viterbo values and Franciscan identity. Required for employees, adjunct faculty welcome to join.

Students: Do you like to sing and perform? Consider auditioning for Platinum Edition or Diamond Edition. Platinum Edition is Viterbo University's nationally recognized show choir. Diamond Edition is a new treble voice show choir. Both ensembles are open to all Viterbo University students, as well as other college students in the La Crosse area. The Student Sustainability Club and the Environmental Responsibilities Committee are organizing a Styrofoam Recycling Event during move-in days. Green Bagster bags will be located near the Dumpsters. Put any packing styrofoam into these bags so the club and committee members can transport it to a styrofoam recycling facility to be properly recycled or reused. Poundage results will be posted later.
