Coming up:

Theatre and Music Theatre invites the Viterbo community to join them in supporting and celebrating the Class of 2022 Senior Showcase. This 35 minute digital showcase highlights graduating students through an eclectic mix of songs and monologues. First Lecture Survey: All undergraduate students graduating in May are encouraged to complete the First Lecture survey by Friday, April 29. Respondents can nominate up to three faculty members whom they think should deliver the First Lecture as part of new student orientation this fall. Click here for the survey link.

Faculty are invited to the Faculty Council Meeting on Thursday, April 28, 3:30–4:30 p.m. via Zoom. Contact Stephanie Thorson-Olesen for more information.

The opening reception for the All Student Show and Touchstone Release Opening is April 27 at 5 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Gallery, third floor. At 5:45 p.m. there will be a reading of the Literature from Touchstone in FAC, room 318. The exhibit will run April 27–May 4. The All Student Show will showcase works from Touchstone and students taking art classes.

Viterbo’s annual Fresh Check Day event will be help April 27 from 3–6 p.m. in the Murphy Courtyard (between VAC and Murphy Center). Stop by with friends for some free food and fun as you engage in activities that promote good mental health and suicide prevention efforts. There will be awesome give-aways (Amazon Fire Tablet, hammocks, potted plants, Viterbo swag, etc.). Monkey Business Food Truck will also be whipping up some amazing food (not free) to help celebrate the occasion. Rain location will be in the Mathy Center.
