Theatre department acting studio students will be performing a combination of 10-minute and one act plays on alternating nights from Tuesday, April 27-Friday, April 30 in the LaCroix Black Box as the finale to the Spring 2021 Production Season. Audiences are limited to 35 attendees (social distancing and masks required). Nursing seniors are invited to Nursing Employment Preparation Night with Gundersen, Recover Health, and Federal Medical Center, a panel presentation designed to prepare them for the job search. Wednesday, April 28, 5–6:30 p.m. via Zoom. Pre-registration is requested via Zoom link.

The Viterbo Art Department is hosting a series of art workshops for the Viterbo community. Workshops are open to all Viterbo students, faculty, and staff. No art experience is necessary for any of the workshops.  Space is limited, however, and registration is required. Workshops will be held on some Thursday evenings from 6–8 p.m. and some Friday afternoons from 2–4 p.m. Register by sending your name and preferred workshop to sjlisota@viterbo.eduWorkshops for the Week of April 25–May 1: Batik: Fabric, Wax, and Watercolors: Participants will explore the art of batik using traditional and non-traditional methods for creating a batik design on fabric. Participants will design, draw, and paint to complete an approximately 10x10 size artwork. No experience necessary. Kira Peters, Viterbo faculty, and Jessica Montgomery, Viterbo Art Alumni, will lead this workshop on Thursday evening, April 29, from 6-8 p.m. in FAC 317. Space is limited to 15. Open Clay Studio: Try your hand in creating functional or sculptural forms in clay, on the potter's wheel or by hand-building them. No experiences necessary. Dan Stokes, Viterbo faculty, will guide beginners and advanced makers alike. Friday, April 23 from 2–4 p.m. in FAC 301. Space is limited to 10.

The All Student Art Show is now open in the Fine Arts Center 3rd floor Gallery in connection with the Touchstone magazine release. The art show will run through May 5. Everyone is invited to see the artwork created by Viterbo’s talented student artists. Touchstone magazines showcasing the Viterbo community’s visual and literary artists are available throughout campus.
