Faculty and academic advisors are invited to join the webinar Nudging Students to Success: The Integration of Academic Advising and Motivational Psychology on Thursday, April 21 from 1–1:50 p.m. In this webinar, presenters demonstrate how advisors can nudge students into making good decisions by altering predictable behavior through incentives. Discussion focuses on nudging students via intentional acts of persuasion and guidance to produce outcomes while maintaining a student’s agency. Sponsored by Academic Advising. Entertainer Kenny Ahern will perform his family theatre show To Laugh is to Live! Saturday, April 23 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Weber Center for the Performing Arts Veterans Studio Theatre.
The United States Navy Band Sea Chanters will present a free public performance on Monday, May 2 at 7:30 p.m. in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre. General admission. First come, first served. Limited seating available.
Viterbo’s annual Fresh Check Day event will be help April 27 from 3–6 p.m. in the Murphy Courtyard (between VAC and Murphy Center). Stop by with your friends for some free food and fun as you engage in activities that promote good mental health and suicide prevention efforts. There will be awesome give-aways (Amazon Fire Tablet, hammocks, potted plants, Viterbo swag, etc.). Monkey Business Food Truck will also be whipping up some amazing food (not free) to help celebrate the occasion. Rain location will be in the Mathy Center.

Interested in intermittent fasting? Join a student research study. Participants must be between ages of 18–65. The purpose of the study is to determine if intermittent fasting will improve body composition and health parameters over a 12-week study.
